Letters

So my therapist mentioned that maybe I should write "good bye" letters to all the foods that I will no longer have. I've been thinking about it but was wondering if others have done this & if it worked?

It's a good technique and helps you explore why you turned to certain foods, the benefits or non-benefits of them and ur plan to deal w life and ur way of eating (to live not live to eat).

As a therapist I know it works w food, neg past events and relationships. Then some mail off ones re others and safely tear and burn other ones...... Cleansing and allowing for a new healthy you!

Give it a try :-)

It helps our therapist had us write a love letter to ourselves in a class and told us to put it away and go back later and read it in like 6-12 according as to what point your at in pre op

Sunday night I'm going to do this. I also might take a video like how they do on Biggest Loser. A video to myself to remind me not to ever come back "here".
