Hi. Newbie, leeds area here.

Hello all. Thought I'd come and join you.

I was approved for NHS funding in December, and have my first Consultant appointment in Thursday. I'm having my surgery at Spire hospital in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

All being well I am likely to have my surgery in February or early March, hoping to get my date Thurs.

Excited/scared/bricking it really. Can't wait to start my new life though.

    Thanks. The sooner we get to the other side, And can start really living, the better!

    Oddly I've no nerves about it at the moment. Just positivity. Colleagues have asked am I not scared, but to be honest it all seems a bit unreal at the moment. Sure it will sink in when I'm on the pre op diet.
