  4. Can't believe that I go in tomorrow morning. Everything has gone so quickly, and now I know that in less than 24 hours time I'll be up and walking around. Feels surreal. I've packed my bag, now charging my phone and tablet. Meds are bagged up, bed is made, bottles of water are in my room for ease once I get home, and I just want it done and over now. Going to miss my dog like mad while I'm away- he sleeps at the bottom of my bed.
  5. good luck, and keep us posted x
  6. Janel- I think that crockery set is a wonderful idea! I've bought some toddler spoons and weaning tubs, ready for one and two ounce portions, but I love the idea of having specific (cute!) crockery.

  8. So, have just been clearing out the baking cupboard in prep for my pre op diet, and beyond. I'm going to use this cupboard as my own, specific to my needs post surgery. Only problem is, it is currently bare. I have: A couple of tubs of protein shakes Some sugar free jelly Some healthy eating Thai chicken soup Some healthy eating Tuscan bean soup Um, that's it! Any recommendations for when I go grocery shopping? I'm having a gastric bypass, if that helps.
  9. Thanks. The sooner we get to the other side, And can start really living, the better! Oddly I've no nerves about it at the moment. Just positivity. Colleagues have asked am I not scared, but to be honest it all seems a bit unreal at the moment. Sure it will sink in when I'm on the pre op diet.
