March Surgery Dates

I've seen topics where members having surgery in the same month have kinda banded together to offer support and encouragement to one another. I think this is a wonderful idea, and I'd like to see if there's anyone having surgery in March that would like to support one another.

I have a tentative date for the second or third week in March. I have UHC through Georgia Pacific and they use BRS for approvals. I don't expect any delays, nor does my surgeon's office, so she saved me a spot, so to speak, lol.

Tonight I have my psyc eval, and Monday is my information class, I have two more visits, 2/5 and 3/5 of my six month supervised diet, and on March 5th when I leave my PCP's office, I'll take my worksheet to the surgeon and we'll submit to insurance. That's where I'm at!

I'd love to talk with others that are looking at the same time frame as me!! :D

I had my surgery exactly a week ago and mines lasted from 2:18pm-10:30pm....I was told it would be a 4hour procedure but my Surgeon stated when closing me up I kept Oozing where my staples went into my abdomen(the six incisions) yeah so he took them out and hand sewn every stitch which was time consuming...needless to say I'm quite pleased because now my incisions are even tinier than the staples would have been and knock on wood there has been no problems.... I am thankful for Dr. REARDON at The Methodist Hospital in Houston Texas in the medical center and the ENTIRE SURGICAL TEAM!!!

The countdown begins......5 more days till I become a loser!!! ;)

Good luck. I wish you the best. Nothing to be scared of. When you wake up after surgery you will feel such relief.

How r u feeling? I just had mine yesterday the first day was horrible but at least I have no appetite lol I hope to go home tomorrow

I have a big favor to ask! Would you all check the list' date=' and if you see any mistakes, or you want to be added, let me know tonight! Surgery is tomorrow, and I'll be posting from my iPod or tablet at the hospital, and this thing is much easier on a keyboard! That way I can get it all right tonight! After this, please feel free to copy and paste to make corrections! I don't mind at all! We went from about ten or fifteen when I started this thread to 74 people!!! And that's if I haven't missed anyone! I love this group!![/quote']
