Iron to low

I suppose to have surgery on the 21st but my doc said my iron is to low I hope I can get it up before surgery

Post-surgery, I lost too much blood and required a transfusion. My H&H remain low [as is my Iron]. Doctor suggested a diet of chicken livers, spinach and turkey [all pureed - as that's my diet this week]. My Iron and H&H has climbed each week. Wishing you best of luck

Google iron-rich foods and start eating them ASAP. You can supplement but getting iron through food is best for your body.
