Fruit

My nut told me I can have all the fruits I want because fruit sugar won't affect you. I am ADDICTED to apples right now. Anyone that is a diabetic, find this to not be a true statement?

I was Pre- diabetic / insulin resistant. I found that I can eat apples everyday, and watermelon. Got sick from pineapples. Could not eat grapes in the beginning.

I'm still on post op liquids, but a crunchy apple sounds delicious right now. How much can you eat?

I'm 2 weeks out but my nut says fruit is ok in the solids stage as long as you dont eat the skin.
