Great! I'm already able to eat solid foods. I was pain free by day 7. Concerned that I've only lost 14 pounds so far. How much have you lost?

Thanks! I'm doing great! I did Reiki before surgery and then she sent me healing energy every day there after. I woke up alert, hungry and ready to walk right out of surgery. I was pain free by day 7 and I'm able to eat, digest and tolerate liquids and solid foods already. Haven't been sick once, bowel movements are regular, energy is high and my mood is happy. I feel great, now I just pray that I lose the weight! My goal is 150 pounds.

Me too. I am still trying to get all the glue off. Surgery date.. 12/ 20

I was glued too. All of the glue came off in about a week. I'm well on my way to healing. The swelling is almost gone. My surgery was also 12/20.

I had an exciting day! I finally got to meet one of our own (RNY talk) at the dr's office today during our nutrition class. She messaged me awhile ago and we actually had surgery the same day at the same hospital, too! It felt amazing! We visited afterward and had so much to talk about. It was especially nice to be able to talk to someone openly about this whole journey and what you experience whether it be good or bad. So cool!
