Counting Down!

Hello,

I'm new to this site and could definitely use some support. I've never really had a weight issue until I had my daughter 9/2011. Of course it's all worth it but now I'm extremely depressed and bury myself at home because I hate the way I look. I'm really looking forward to the WLS and to making new friends on this site...

Thanks ladies. Any of you had or are having WLS soon? If so how long did the whole approval process take?

Hi Bellasmama, the approval came rather quickly, as my employer's insurance required a 3 month follow-up w/ dietician, exercise physiologist, and psych visitis. I met with the surgeon twice, my PCP, and am scheduled for 1/7. After I met my requirements, I was approved within a week.

Wow that's great blackbutterfly!!!! My insurance requires me to do a 6 month program which ill be finished with in Dec. My first appt is Dec 19 and I'm hoping after that things go quickly!!! I'm really hoping I get approved.. Wish you the best if luck and please keep me updated :)

Bellasmama, it's amazing how quick the time goes. I found a sale this weekend ($20) off a Cuisinart Blender/ Processor. Gotta be ready for the preop and postop diet!
