Welcome BustedBeauty- Hang in w/ those requirements. I only have preop labs left and a physical, then suegery on 1/7. There's so many people on here to look to for inspiration, strength, & motivation. I plan to post updates. From what I see on here, it will be worth it.

Bellasmama, it's amazing how quick the time goes. I found a sale this weekend ($20) off a Cuisinart Blender/ Processor. Gotta be ready for the preop and postop diet!

My friends, sister, mom/dad, and colleagues know. Sometimes family can be so judgmental. So, not ever planning on telling them. Esp. if I have issues, etc. Of course they'll say I should not have had the surgery! At this point in my life, I can and will only have dealings with positive people. -
Hi Bellasmama, the approval came rather quickly, as my employer's insurance required a 3 month follow-up w/ dietician, exercise physiologist, and psych visitis. I met with the surgeon twice, my PCP, and am scheduled for 1/7. After I met my requirements, I was approved within a week.

Hi all, I am new on here, and really like this site- what a resource! I'm trying to get all the necessary items I need. This is getting expensive, but I'm not whining Please wish me well. Never stayed in hospital, just trying not to get the creeps either. -
