Post Op From Oct 18

Hey there! I'm Rebecca and I am currently post op from gastric bypass. My starting weight was 235 and currently weighing in at 228.5 woohoo. I'm a mom to a beautiful 2.5 y/o little girl named caileigh married to a great guy and work full time as a paramedic :) Super excited about what my future holds and where this journey will take me. I welcome all and any advice as like I said I'm a newbie!

Look forward to making some friends!

Take care,

Rebecca

Hey recovery has been pretty good to me thankfully! Have a great support of other medic and drs that have had it which has been awesome lol. Surgery on the 18th at 730 am catheter pulled by noon walking by 6 pm :) discharged by 6 pm on the 19!!!! Taking it easy drinking plenty of fluids and keeping up with pain mess, FYI to all don't try to be above the pain mess did that one day and it kicked my ass the following day lol.

That's awesome! I hope mine goes that well. I lived in brigantine for about 12 years and still have family there. I'm in Columbia sc now.

Welcome and sounds like you are off to a great start. Keep letting us know how you are doing. I have revision surgery from lap band to RNY on Nov. 7. You encourage me. Thank you.
