It's the little things that mean so much. Today I went to a place called kids club here in Vancouver Washington. For the first time I was able to crawl up in the tubes and run around this Hugh play structure. I didn't even get tired. It was the best feeling. One of the number one reasons I did had this surgery was so I can be a better mommy for my kids. I feel like I am on my way there :-)

That's wonderful!! I'm happy for you and your daughter. It makes this all worth it!

Surgery 7/25/12

OMG your daughter is adorable!!!!!

It so awesome to be able to play with your little ones, isn't it? My daughter is 5 and for a few years I avoided taking her to the McDonald's play place because I was afraid I'd have to go in the tunnels after her. Now I just avoided it because their food is garbage and there's nothing there for me to eat! Lol

That is why I am having the surgery as well. I want to be the best mom I can and that includes being diabetes free and fit and a great example for my two girls

this is what it is all about. enjoy these little things, cause you know when it is all said and done, the little things become a MEMORY and that is what we need to do with our children and grandchildren. Make some MEMORIES
