I had pickles about 2.5 weeks out n they sat ok. Try a little piece first. Good luck

I was not allowed anything like that til after 6 weeks or so. But whatever you do just chew, chew, chew til it's mush. Getting sick and vomiting is so terrible and I've been there by not chewing my food up. Some foods you'll be able to tolerate and some no. Just take tiny bites and chew well. Good luck to you!

I am wanting V-8 juice. But of course everything smells good... I want to eat a salad... :-(

I had my first pickel about 2 months post op. I chewed, chewed, chewed them really well. I love pickels and they are very low in fat and calories and a good snack.
