Minor Cold

I am scheduled for surgery on Tuesday and yesterday I started getting a minor cold just a congested runny nose. I'm scared that they won't operate on me because of this. Has anyone else had a cold right before surgery? Did they operate on you?

I know n I have been waiting for this for 9 months i would hate to have to reschedule. Let me know what happens on Monday if they go through it maybe that will give me hope n good luck :)

Try using plain old saline nasal spray 3-4 times a day. This always helped me get rid of colds faster

My frien had her sugary on the 7th she had a little head cold and told them it was allergies. Everything went well for her.

I was instructed To only take Tylenol from 1 week till surgery. I been taking Tylenol it just doesn't seem to work. My sinuses are also worse in the morning, during the day it's not as bad. It's very irritating.

Jenna, I read on obesity help that most dr willoperate as long as you don't have a fever I hope that's true.

I would try the saline spray. It will flush your sinuses out. I use simply saline. It's a mist and it works wonders.
