Sweeteners

Is anyone having the same problems I'm having. I've tried every sweetener I can think of and the horrible after taste makes me sick to my stomach. I can't get the taste out of my mouth no matter what!!! Some things I just need to be sweetened for example decaf coffee or oatmeal. Without any sweetness I can not swallow the food. It's so bland it makes me gag. I'm at my wits end. I am on my third week post op and because of this horrible sweet aftertaste I'm finding it hard to eat right. Any advice out there!? Thanks all!
