I am really starting to hate "the look." Let me describe and I'm sure many can relate, you see someone they know about surgery or heard whatever... And you smile HI! and it comes..... The complete UP & DOWN and back to eye contact before they respond hi. I find it a little uncomfortable. Im only 6 weeks out you can see a change but I'm still big and don't know your expectations to MY wls.

But everyone gives me the looks! Ugh!

Omg totally understand!! I also hate when they say ok stand up and let me see! I'm like yea I lost weight but Im still big have a lot to go! But I must say it is nice ppl are thinking about me and care! I try to think of it that way.... Kind of helps but not to much lol

I'm in the pre-op stage still...having surgery Wednesday 9/12!!!

But I "like" the look I get when I tell people I'm having surgery or they find out and come ask me; and I get that "concerned" big eye...is that really what you want to do look.

Really people...really?!? Lol

People that don't know what we have to go though just to get approved for WLS and how hard it is after surgery. To bad they can't live in our shoes for a week to see what it's like
