You are doing great!! Losing is a stair step process... Lose, pause, lose, pause... Also everyone loses at different rates, that's why it's wonderful that this experience is a marathon, not a race :)

I had mine on July 3 and have only lost 20 lbs. 16.5 were lost the 1st 2 weeks. Stay encouraged.

Hi Elizabeth, My surgery was 7/11 and I've lost about 20 pounds since my surgery (approx 5 weeks). I'm thrilled with the 20 pounds because I know without this surgery there is no way I would have lost 5 let alone 20. All the research I've done, Reading I've done, Websites I've visited have shown me that every person's journey is their own. BELIEVE ME I have to keep myself in check as well. It's so easy to compare journeys but, that only puts unnecessary pressure on ourselves. Sounds like you're eating right and exercising so it's going to come off...your body is adjusting right now but, the scale will move. As my surgeon said she's never seen this surgery not work if folks follow the rules.

Heck ya, I think we all want the weight off NOW...but, it won't happen that way. It's a life long journey even after hitting your own goal. We will always be a work in progress even after hitting goal.

Congrats on great weightloss! Celebrate it! :)

You all are so inspiring to me. I can't wait for my surgery which is coming up on Monday 8-13-12.
