Delayed...need Inspiration

So I was scheduled to have my bypass yesterday but on Tuesday received an abnormal pap smear result from a Gyne appointment. The PA in my surgeons office took me off the calendar saying they couldn't risk anything being wrong. My gyne said it wasn't a big deal and faxed a clearance to the surgeon. However the PA said it was too late and they had to reschedule me.

I now have to wait until August 9 because the surgeon is on vacation and I'm extremely frustrated. I was almost 4 days into my liquid diet and was finally mentally prepared. Now I have to do it all over again in a month.

UGH!!!!

Omg! I'm so sorry! I can totally relate to how you feel. When I went to my preop cleance with my primary care dr and had the chest X-ray done- they found that the left side of my diaphragm was elevated and my dr refused to give me the clearance. I cried like a baby for days thinking i couldnt have the surgery! Thankfully I was able to get into to see a pulminologist prior to my surgery and had all sorts of tests and the pulminologist cleared me for surgery. Once you are mentally ready your ready for it to be done and over with and moving on with your life. I'm sorry you had to go through this- just remember everything happens for a reason!! {HUGS}

Thanks Sunflwr! My hubby has been very supportive but I know he was losing patience with me as I cried the last few days. It's been tough.

Hold on.... Be strong you surgery will be here before you know it.
