From San Jacinto Ca had surgery on 5/2/2012 @ Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. My surgeon is Dr. Ramy Awad.

I live in Maryland, but will be having my surgery in Washington, DC at Sibley Memorial Hospital which is under John Hopkins.

The waiting is terrible!!!! I have an appointment on the 24th with Vanessa and then last appointment with Dr shin on the 23rd of October. How long did you have to wait for a surgery date after your last appointment weigh in.?

1st mtg with him Feb 8, everything was done by may 14, insurance denied based on need. My pcp suggested i appeal. I did they had 45 days. Decision was reversed on 7/19. Sent auth for coverage to him on 7/25. Went for prep on 7/26. Now five wks out.needless to say stayed on top of appointments and keeping logs, etc. It could'vebeen sooner w/out insurance issue. but it happened when it was supposed to.

So they more or less scheduled your pre op day after he got approval. See I am just curious how long I will have to wait after seeing him on the 23rd of October

I have my psych evaluation on October 3rd and Dr Shin did say they will hurry things up after that
