Hello there...I've just received my phone call today that I've been approved by my insurance for the surgery. While I've been on this journey for months, I'm now getting a little anxious. I figured the best way to help myself through was to take a look at some success stories and came across this group. I'd be very appreciative of any feedback, comments, or anything else.

I just had my surgery june 11th and boy was I nervous, especially when I got that call and that meant I had to start my 1 month prior to surgery clearances. It didn't really hit me that I was about to have surgery until I was in my surgery bed getting prepped [not to mention I'm terrified of needles] but you really shouldn't be afraid, after they get you cleared to go in to the operating room they put some calming medicine in you that honestly makes you not give a crap, and this is coming from the most neurotic hypochondriac on the planet. It wasn't as scary as I thought and I'm already down 10 lbs and man does it feel great. The hospital stay was lame but so so so worth it, you'll be fine :]
