I didn't find it so painful. Two days hooked on IV for pain. Was walking around next day after surgery & at home took 2 pain killers & I still have 28 pills left.

Just got done with all my preop stuff. Doc said pain is different with everyone. He said the faster you get walking after surgery the better.

Yes walking helped me- I was walking dragging around urine bag and IV within 3-4 hours of surgery- then every few hours.

The pain is horrible! Its worth it but its horrible
