Hello - New Here

Hi everyone

I've been watching this sight for about a month and am ready to join in. My surgery is June 21. I can't wait but a little nervous about recovery and caring for my 3 little ones (ages 4, 3 & 7 mos). I have a lot of help but am still concerned. Any advice/ similar situations? I did have 3 c-sections with easy recoveries. My surgeon said this would be easier ;)

I had a c-section and this hurt worse for me. But my aunt had it and never had any pain and she had the same surgeon as me. So you never know. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst lol. If it helps I don't remember the pain anymore and it's been six months. My suggestion is walk as much as you can when you get it done it helps with the pain and the gas. For me it seemed like the gas gave me the most pain! Walking helped get rid of it. The days I didn't walk I was hurting. Good luck you will do great:-)

Congrats on your upcoming surgery!

I had 2 csections and this recovery was way easier I think!

I never had a csection. But I had a lot of pain with recovery. Now 12 days out I'm almost back to normal. I was able to function throughout. My main issues were standing up and sitting down. And of course I'm not yet able to sleep in my bed;)

It's easier then csection. So I thought.
