Numbness?

Hi all, 2 weeks since the surgery and I still have numbness on my right thigh, anyone else have this? How long did it take to disappear? I'm aware it's from the nerves being cut, it's just bothersome.. Thanks

I had numbness on the left side of my tummy and my thigh for about a week! I'm thinking from the anthesics!

Five weeks! And ya still feel it!?

Such an awkward feeling! How are you feeling physically..? Pain?

How much have u lost since surgery? Exercise? Whatcha eating?

Haha, just a couple questions.. lol.

I had the exact same thing, whole right thigh totally numb in the front. I asked my doctor and he said that it is from the cautery (the tool they use to cut/burn in surgery) needs to be grounded to you, its kind of a electrical thing. When I had hernia surgery the same thing happened.

I am 8 wks post op and the numbness lasted about 5-6 weeks, it does go away... some sooner than later, mine lasted a while.
