Hi all, 2 weeks since the surgery and I still have numbness on my right thigh, anyone else have this? How long did it take to disappear? I'm aware it's from the nerves being cut, it's just bothersome.. Thanks

In your thigh? I have it, on the bottom of the right side of my tummy.

I had numbness on the left side of my tummy and my thigh for about a week! I'm thinking from the anthesics!

I am 5 weeks post op and I still have some on the lower left side of my tummy glad to hear I'm not the only one!!...lol

What is the numbness from?

I had the exact same thing, whole right thigh totally numb in the front. I asked my doctor and he said that it is from the cautery (the tool they use to cut/burn in surgery) needs to be grounded to you, its kind of a electrical thing. When I had hernia surgery the same thing happened.

I am 8 wks post op and the numbness lasted about 5-6 weeks, it does go away... some sooner than later, mine lasted a while.
