So as of now I am going to NYU to see Dr. Kurian, she is the same surgeon that performed the sleeve on Al Roker! So excited, I'm still so surprised at all of the visits I have to do... Seminar, consult, nutrionist, Nurse visit, etc.! It'll all be worth it in the end I'm sure =)

If anyone is from around the NYC area and would like to reccomend a surgeon please do so!! I would like to see another just to make absolute sure that I am totally comfortable :wub: Thanks =P

Dr. Pomp Dr. Rubino at NYPH . Pomp did my lap band and he's wonderful. I met Rubino about doing bypass but I felt more comfortable with fielding because he is the best. Also al Roker had the gastric Bypass right? Did he get the sleeve recently?

Dr Kurian was my surgeon, I had my lap band revised to gastric bypass.. I love her to bits. Just saw her yesterday for my six week post op appointment. I highly reccomend her!!

Also... I've seen dr. Schwack @ NYU (same practice as fielding/kurian) he's very good too! He's doing my bf's uncles gastric sleeve next Friday. Can't say enough good things about that practice
