Yea when I first started my journey I wasn't sure to go band or bypass but I heard many crazy wild stories about the band and thought oh no that's terrible so I am glad that I went with bypass! Everything only goes up from here!! Good luck at your appointment and keep us updated with your progress!!

I recently had a revision surgery from Lapband to RNY bypass; I wish I would have gone with the bypass from the start. I had so many issues with my band; granted I did have some success with the band but most of it occurred at a cost of constant vomiting as the band never seemed to be at a good level of restriction for me. I was what I like to call a medically induced bullimoc.

I wish you the best of luck with your surgery!

I thought i wanted the band to since ny sisterinlaw had problems but everyone is diff. And more and mire complications with the band so im having surgery next thursday . I had wait little while for insurance to approve rny after they approved band
