Fobi Ring

I had my gastric bypass surgery 3 months ago and was just wondering if anyone else had the fobi ring fitted?

What's a fobi ring?

It's a silicone ring they put at the opening of your stomach to stop ur stomach stretching back at a later date, i paid more money to have it fitted x

Yer, apparently the normal gastric bypass has a success rate of about 70% and a fobi pouch has 90%

Gastric Bypass with Fobi Ring

I am 9 yrs post op and I have the Fobi Ring

Is has been my "insurance" as my surgeon told

Me it would be. It is!!! I would not change it at all!!

I was 255+ now 106. I love it????. I do have to eat slow and cannot eat most things but I have a find what I can plus what works to keep my weight down. It is not so easy. My exercise is walking especially emediatly after eating. Thanks and good luck.
