My surgeon started me on phase 3 and told me to try fish and tuna . The fish didn't go down to well but maybe I'll try it in a couple of weeks .

I started pureed food at two weeks, soft food at three weeks, and regular food at four weeks. Once I was on regular food, I ate a bunch of different things to see what I could tolerate, and had no food issues whatsoever, which has been really great. I can remember being on liquids and dreaming about my first real meal, and I'm sure it was great, but I cannot remember it now.

I'm hoping real food will made me feel better i have been so weak & now I'm sick with a cold. I feel like death I don't feel heathy at all :(

I was able to transition to soft food eight weeks out. Some of the first things I ate were: turkey breakfast sausage link, babybel lite cheese, chicken chili, mackerel filets, tuna salad, scallops, great white northern beans, and grouper. I didn't have any problems with any foods.
