September 5 sleever

Hi everyone! This is my first post. I just got sleeved on Thursday by Dr. Feiz down in Huntington Beach California. I've already had complications and was sent back to the hospital Sunday morning and have been here since. Supposedly I have a cyst in my stomach that is combining with the swelling and preventing anything from getting in. :(

I'm so helpless and worried now. Praying things will get better soon.

I did lose two pounds though!

Glad you're doing better. It will get better. :-)

Oh nice! That's what I like to hear, positive thoughts. Because that first few days I was so scared!!

I'm hungry too! I started on the shakes today because I was so shaky and weak. I feel 100% better. I also read that our stomach is shaped like a funnel, and that when we drink our nutrition it basically passes thru pretty quickly, but once we start eating preed food it will stay in our stomach longer waiting to fit thru the funnel, which will keep us full longer. I got a little worried about feeling hungry also, but since I hadn't had any real nutrition in 10 days (clear liquids 3 days preop and 7 days post op) I think my survival mode kicked in! Hopefully when actual food is introduced the hunger will go away...

Praying for a speedy recovery:)

My hunger subsided once I was able to hold liquids down. Now I barely feel hungry but in dying to get out of the liquid phase
