PAIN EXPLAINED!

Stomach pain started Friday, 16 days post op. called doc saturday and he put me back on all liquid. Pain worse Sunday. This morning sent me for CT scan. I have a blood clot between my stomach and liver. ER doc has never seen one there and no idea how to treat. They admitted me, giving me Heparin to stop growth and will consult with specialist in morning. Of course they are saying they don't know for sure if this is a result of surgery or even if this is the source of my pain. Covering their asses, I guess!

What did your pain feel like?

Best I can explain is that it feels like someone punched me in the stomach. Still waiting to see what they're going to do...

wow really sorry to hear that. I hope everything works out for you

Was it a constant pain? Or a quick pain.

I'm asking because the side of my stomach hurts but it feels like a pulled muscle and it's not always there..comes on if I walk too much or lift something.

A constant pain. Stronger at times than others but always there.
