I got the call from the surgery scheduler a little bit ago. I am scheduled for Halloween!!! I have my all day nutrition class on Sept 26 and then 2 weeks before surgery I will have my physical and preop testing!! I'm so excited and I can't wait! I won't start my preop diet until Oct 17 but I've already started to implement the changes I'm going to need. Can't wait to be on the loser's bench!!

Congratulations on getting your date. I see the surgeon tomorrow and get my pre-op instructions for blood work etc. Then two weeks later on Sept 24 I have my surgery. I am getting more excited with every day that goes by, but I am also getting nervous.

I would so be flipping out! Halloween is my favorite Holiday! Congradulations!

Well I saw the surgeon yesterday and signed consents as well as got pre-op blood work and xrays done. I am so ready for this surgery. My husband came with to appt and he really liked the doctor. I am 13 days away from a new beginning. I am getting a little nervous now, but I know I have made the right decision. However, my dad thinks I am crazy for doing this. My husband is so supportive. Thank goodness for him.
