Mood swings......

So I'm afraid it may have hit.....the book my dr gave me said that mood swings happen....I have spent the last 24 hours crying at the drop of a hat and just basically being a "baby". I am not a crier.....I don't cry over ANYTHING. yet, I can't stop!!!! any suggestions? I feel like I'm going crazy!!!!

I know this may not be the most thought provoking and in depth approach to help with such strong emotions, but my go-to thing for feeling hyper emotional/crazy/weepy, is YouTube. Then i search for Jesus Christ in Richmond park, and I laugh every time. Then I search for Jeb Corliss Grinding the Crack and I get inspired. I can go about my business afterwards because 1. Finding pleasure and laughter at the simplest things reminds me that humor and happiness will overrule sorrow and tears . And 2. Anytime I feel inspired and uplifted I can easily dust my pants off and get back up again. Hope you feel better soon!

Walk! Walk! Then walk some more! My philosophy about depression is that by moving, maybe I can out run it.

It will pass. Hang in there.

How far out are you? I ask because i was under the impression mood swings were an early out thing. However this week, at almost 4 months out, i seem to have turned into a raging b***h. Then i cry. Swinging on the mood swing & it is no fun. It was period week, but ive never been like this...

Lol my new nickname is 'Fang'

I'm only 17 days......and am better now that my hubby came home from work, but he can't do that every day!!!!!

I've been crying a lot too, one month out. I feel like everyday is a massive PMS day. Someone told me that excess estrogen gets trapped in fat and a rapid loss releases it. I don't know how true that is but it make sense given how Im feeling right now. Can't concentrate for crap, tired and crying for no good reason. Oh, and I could murder piece of chocolate cake right now. :). Hope you feel better soon.

It will pass. I went through it as well at a week after surgery & again at 3 weeks aftwr surgery. It was hell but I started walking & found that helped me a lot to deal with the overwhelming feelings & emotions that were trying to take over my mind & body. Try to stay busy, find somethi g soothing to do. Everyone is different so you just have to find what may work for you all. I find I can kewp it all at bay for the most part as long as I stay busy & use up some of the energy I have. I am now 7 weeks out so it has been 4 weeks since I have had an episode. Keep your head up, keep faith, & keep pushing forward. May god walk beside you all & help you all on your journey to a new, healthier, happuer you!!!!
