I am 3 weeks post-op and I can't eat or drink without feeling like I'm going to throw up. Its been unusually hot where I live could that be the reason?

I'm 6 days post op and I've not felt like I was going to throw up, but I'm also still on the liquid diet. I have eaten jello, yogurt and creamy soup but the only problem I have is it kind of hurts like a spasm for just a few seconds when it hits my stomach. It then feels fine. Is this normal?
