My mind is a Funny thing....

Recommended Posts

I thought this was funny. Today is day 5 of my Pre-Op Diet. I haven't cheated, except a 1/2 packet of Crystal Light Grape Energy a couple days ago. (My Surgeon Prefers No caffeine)

Any way this morning my body was up early & I was Really looking forward to eating my chewable Multivitamin & Chewable Calcium. I've had both of these is the past & Yuck normally.

It's funny how when your mind is made up it finds something to like the taste of.

I know it's cheezy, but I found it funny.

Have a Good day All! We are one day closer to a Renewed Life! :)

When your mind gets made up your tastes follow.

I preferred brunettes because of a bad experience I had with a blond early on. I married a brunette and have been as happy as a clam with her. When she began turning grey she decided she wanted to be blond. Not being a control freak I supported her decision.

I have overcome my aversion to blond hair. Just one of a multitude of ways she has changed me.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
