anyone have a hiatal hernia repaired?

i apparently had one repaired during surgery, and according to my post-op instructions, i'm supposed to be on Clear liquids for 15 days instead of 10. did anyone do that, or is that just a super conservative precaution?

i love my broths, but i would kill for some milk.

thanks for any help!

I had one repaired and had no additional requirements. I felt so good at my one week follow up I was able to move to pureed food early.

Good luck

I had one repaired and left the hospital on a pureed diet. The programs are SO different, but FOLLOW YOURS!!
