First night home

First night home can't sleep laying down, I woke up in so much pain it hurts to breathe. I know that in 6 mo a year it's totally worth it deff spirits are not down at all just Owwwwy

  • Were you sent home with pain meds? It might help to stagger so your narcotic and 2 hours later Tylenol. And 2 hours later (or whatever the time range is) your narcotic.

Liquid hydro, I may need to! They gv my pain meds in the hospital every 2 hours and a stronger every 6

I did before I went to bed slept in recliner woke up in oober pain.

Force yourself to walk around the house for 5 minutes every couple of hours. Plus all the advise above and try using a heating pad or hot water bottle. That really helped me, plus use a pillow to hold against your tummy while walking or changing positions. Good luck....things will get better very quickly.
