  4. My surgeon is amazing please don't get me wrong. However, I feel like he gave vague instructions on what to do. His guideline, after hospital full liquids, skim milk, protein, sf Popsicles, strained soups, water water water, ect... Then he says 7-12 days post op puréed food, baby food, cottage cheese.... I know low cal, low carb but I'm not sure how many cal a day, how many carbs can I have a day. I don't know I'm so lost. I have a general idea of what I can eat, but I was hoping maybe y'all could help me. I want to be successful I need to lose 150-200 lbs!!! Like what foods are huge no no's, I know the obvious fatty high cal/carb. Also I was told no pills for headaches, so today I had my first follow up and I asked him about the no no's and he said I can take pills, Tylenol, aleve, Advil ect also I can drink through a straw (when I've heard many on here say that their surgeons said no straws) that those no no's are for gastric bypass.... Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!!!!
