Finally.....how long to get a date...?

Uggg it wasn't easy...finally got my pre-op weight off....now they are setting up an appointment for me to meet the surgeon....How long do you think it will take to get a date??? I have everything else done...I will have to say it was easier quitting smoking that to get those 12 lbs off!!

From my approval to my date was about 6 months due to surgeon's schedule. That's uncommon (to wait so long) but every surgeon, hospital, program, insurance is different.

Regardless of how long (or short) it takes, don't go back to old habits. Keep moving forward with your good habits, meal plan, etc and you'll do great!
