changes in food tolerance

Has anyone experienced changes in tolerating foods after surgery. I know you can't tolerate certain foods post op but I mean being able to eat something and then suddenly you can't anymore. I was sleeved on July 15 and have been able to eat watermelon since about a week post op but today I had some watermelon and felt so sick I could only lie the floor in pain and then I threw up. What happened? I haven't had any problems before....

I've heard folks mention it! Lay off for a month, and try again... by itself. Might "fix" itself!
