Heartburn

I never had heartburn before surgery, now it seems like I always have it. Is that normal?

    Me too! Rarely had heartburn before (struggled with nightime reflux from a slipped band tho) but have it all the time now. My dr changed my rx from Prilosec to Pepcid post op. 3 days ago I thought I'd give the Prilosec a go again and haven't had heartburn since. Guess the Pepcid doesn't work for everyone.

    Try a different PPI (if ur even on a PPI). Something else may work better.

    Call your doc, he/she knows best....

    I have it bad enough now that I have doubled up on the ppi per doctors orders and I have started to notice relief.

    More/diff meds may give you relief..... good luck.
