Reporting in for the Week: Exercised 5 times last week, water aerobics, treadmill and weights. I lost 2 pounds. Finally, off the plateau. Yeah!

Ok, as expected I went overboard on my anniversary dinner...We had Red Lobster and I had shrimp galore and the top of one of their garlic butter biscuits...I think I am totally done for the week and feel like I am going to explode...Time for me to get back on track...I expect a little gain tomorrow so I am not going to go off the deep end cuz I already know its coming, but just how much is the question!!

Ok so I need some help here. My surgeon is on vacation, and basically I have no real guidelines to food etc...

So here is the problem. I am 3 weeks post op(starting 4th week today), I have lost 28 pounds as of the 2nd. Then on the 9th I went up 3 pounds!:) I don't get it why? why? why? I ask Why? Ok maybe i need to excercize?

I joined a gym today.

I did the walking work out at home.

Here is what I ate today:

Breakfast 1 slice of low fat swiss, 1 slice of low fat turkey, 2 low fat ritz crackers

water 8oz

Snack = 1/2 protien bar

Lunch:

2oz chicken, 1/2 large mushroom, 2 mini mozzerella balls, i strip flat bread toast

water water water

Snack low carb yoguart 4oz

Supper:

2.5 oz turkey meat ball, 1 tbsp non fat mozerella

snack other half of protien bar

water water water

snack 4oz fat free milk, sugr free cookie 4 mini

ok so it is alot of food...but I am hungry...

I cant get my band adjusted untill 3 more weeks! I don't want to gain back what I have lost. WHat to do?

Nursiepooh don't stress, that's common for you weight to fluctuate. Your body has to adjust. Just a few eeks ago you were drinking very few calories and now you are drinking and eating so your body is happy to have these calories. Great job on joining the gym and walking. Keep up the Water and things should balance out and you will be on the losing side of the scale again. Patience :bored

Hey Avilla you are too cute. Congratulations on your anniversary:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:. You are doing an amazing job even if you do obses about the scale. I'm just jelous that I don't have one. Oh and I won't be able to weigh in tonight because we are getting some snow and sleet today.:angry

Kareyquilts great job on kicking that pleateu!! :clap2:

Turner24 WHAT!! 7 pounds AMAZING

Tann you are motivating me to get back to my Protein Shakes. WOW you are knocking those goals down left and right.

Hey Sarg, lately I've been having a protein shake for dinner because whenever I eat a protein dinner I stuffed for about 3-4 hours and am feeling quite uneasy, it's like I can't do anything but nurse my belly. :faint: Which I can' afford to do at home in the evenings with my boys and DH I have too much to do. I really wanted a grilled chix salad last nite for dinner while they were eating their stuff crust supreme pizza from pizzahut, but I changed my mind and did the protein shake. I'll have that salad for lunch today so by the time dinner rolls around the protein shake will hold me until the next morning. I'm also drinking more water than usuall.

Avilla you did great at Red Lobster, when I went in January I ordered the ceasar salad with extra dressing and ate FOUR tops off the garlic biscuits.:) Now if I would've had me some syrup I would have eaten the remaining of the biscuits, well as much as the band would've allowed me:heh: I did turned down the b-day cake that I was offered.

Tann that sounds like a great idea. Everyones band restricts diffrently at diffrent times. If that makes you feel more comfortable go for it. You are doing a great job. What is your family having to say about you new look? Have you done any shopping yet?

Its crazy here w/ice and sleet!:phanvan I am one of the only people who braved it into the office like an idiot:paranoid Everyone else is at home sleeping in :notagree .

My son has his last hockey tournament in Pittsburg, PA this weekend and I have already taken off Friday, Monday, and Tuesday. I couldn't afford to miss today:rolleyes: . So here I am!!:D

Avilla- Happy Anniversary Girlie :biggrin1: :P Hope you worked off some of your Red Lobster calories when you got home :heh:

Teresita- Where do you live?? I am in Ohio and we have 3 inches of snow and 3/4" ice on top of that. We are supposed to get another 3-6" today and overnight. :faint:

Tann- You are doing great!! I know how it feels to want to be able to eat like we used to sometimes :cry . I made BBQ ribs and they smelled great, but chew as I might it hurt like crap going down :think . I felt sick the rest of the night :sick

Hope you all stay safe, dry, and warm today!! The good news is I won't need to wait for the treadmill today :clap2: . Yes sarge! I am going in at 11am to walk for 20min :o

Wish us luck in Pennsylvania!! :D I will probably check in Thursday, but then I will be gone until Tuesday. Everyone better behave! I have a question!:girl_hug: We are taking lunch meat for sandwiches to the hotel and chips and things. There is no microwave in the room. What are some good portable food idea's you all have found?? :) I am taking some fat free sugar free yogurt. I don't tolerate lunch meat well, and I dont need the chips :bandit .

love you all ! :)

I mean it, I couldn't do this without you guys and your support!!

Okay so last night we decided to take the kids to a Mongolian Grill for dinner. I've really only eaten out a couple of times since Septermber when I had my first fill so I was kind of excited. I skipped the noodles, and opted for all the fresh meat and veggies and the chef cooked it up and I thought "This is perfect!"....Uhmmm.....it was ugly. It took me 20 minutes to choke down a couple bites of meat and sliced mushrooms. I had to excuse myself to the restroom 4 times and my poor husband felt soooo bad for me. We still had a great time, the kids love watching the chef cook your food exactly as you've made it and we will definitely go back again...I'll just have to figure out what to eat since their main menu is a no go.....poo!

Overall my day was pretty sloppy and not organized. I didn't do my meal plan on Sunday night like I usually do so I ended up eating weird all day but whatever....today is a new day.

Today I'm eating.

B- Cottage cheese and fruit

S- 1 Turkey pepperoni stick

L- Lentil Soup

D- Meatloaf and veggies

Drank 32 oz Water so far. Have a fab day all!

PS I'm so glad that other people on here are finally starting to experience a little bit of feeling free from a bondage to food....that's all I want is just a small piece of freedom from it. I know everyday won't be perfect and I know that there will still be times when I fall to weakness...but I'm sure trying to work it as best I can....and praying every day that my children don't grow up to have an emotional connection to food....which ultimately gives you nothing emotional in return....except heartache.

This easy 10 minute walking plan does more then get rid of sneaky pounds, it’s an amazing cure-all for common winter woes, including comfort-food cravings, blue moons and lowered immunity.

We teamed up with indoor-walking pioneer Leslie Sansone to design a simple 10-minute, full body routine that you can do in a 10’ x 10’ space in the comfort of your own home. Repeat the sequence three times daily for the speediest slimdown.

Step 1: March in Place (1 minute)

Step 2: Side steps (1 minute)

Step 3: Alternating kicks (1 minute)

Step 4: Knee lifts (1 minute)

Step 5: Fast march and press (90 seconds)

Step 6: Speedy side steps (90 seconds)

Step 7: Quick kick-and-reach (90 seconds)

Step 8: Twist lifts (90 seconds)

Oh my girls, this is awesome! I decided I wanted to try something different last night and remembered this post from Josette and decided to give it a try. (Page 29, Post #426) It sounded so easy to me but it really gives you a good workout!! I am looking forward to doing it again tonight when I get home! I did this last night along with 10 mins. on the bike and 45 crunches (25 front and 10 each side). I also did 10 leg lifts. When my hubby suggested them, I thought they would be a breeze but boy did I feel it. I laid flat on my back and raised both feet 1 inch off the floor and then lifted my legs straight up and back down to an inch. I felt great after my workout!

My Water intake has been great lately! My scale is at a standstill right now but I know that I haven't been eating enough calories. I only ate one meal yesterday which is not good. I was home cleaning house and just didn't stop to eat. I am going to start fluctuating my calorie intake to get the scale moving again.

Thanks to everyone...I sure do enjoy getting to talk with you all...I have been off the computer most of the day today but thought I would check in real quick:

20 oz orange water

8 oz whey (breakfast)

slice of turkey, creamed spinach, cole slaw (lunch, still working on leftovers from boston market 2 days ago)

60 oz water (so far)

1/4 wheat pancake and sugar free syrup, 1 scrambled egg (dinner)

didnt get to work out today due to having to leave for a PTA meeting, but will catch up tomorrow...

I wish everyone the best of luck in the last few weeks of bootcamp!! We can do it!! And I look forward to talking to you all again on the next challenge whatever it may be!
