Banded two days ago

Hello my name is Sherry. I was banded on 1/5/2007 by Dr. Spivak in houston Texas. I'm so glad that this website is here to help. My current weight is 233. My goal weight is 140. My surgery went well. I woke up from surgery in a lot of pain, but the gave me pain killers that helped a lot. It's getting much easier as the days go by. When should I expect to get my first fill?

I had mine in 6 weeks. Then I REALLY felt restricted. I hope this is a good journey for you too.

Remember your water, exercise and good food choices. The band is a BIG help for making you feel full. YOU choose what foods make you feel full.

Hi Sherry! Welcome to LBT..this site is a great resource for information and support. Congratulations on your recent banding, you will start to feel a little better every day. Most doctors will do a fill between 4-6 weeks after surgery. Mine was 6 weeks after. Keep us updated on your progress!
