Well, my surgery was cancelled!

Seems my insurance won't approve the surgery due to my surgeon being out of network! I have had to change my primary care physician and I have to wait until August 1st for an appointment to TRY to get a new referral. I was on the phone for hours trying to find a solution ... just about to give up the idea of surgery. I was getting cold feet anyway! Thinking maybe I should try dieting again!

I'm so sorry... Don't lose hope yet! Keep trying!

Just keep trying if this is what you really want to do. I was told I would have to wait almost a year after approval from my insurance company for an date!! I got fed up and I just got my date...(after 6 months of waiting) they were giving me the run around!

  • 6 months later...

I wasn't covered by insurance ... i went to Mexico. To dr. Almanza at Jerusalem hospital . Cost me about 4000.00 plus flight.

I am 7 weeks out and doing fine. Lost 28# so far.
