I think all these vitamins and protein are making my hair thicker. Hopefully it will offset my loss some when that starts. I'm 8 weeks out today.

I have a friend who had gastric bypass surgery several years ago. When her hair grew back, it came in VERY curly! I hope I stay the same. I also have fine, more silky hair. Hope it doesn't change much

I am almost 6 months post op and I think that my hair loss may be slowing down slightly. I have tried Nioxin and L'Oreal strengthening shampoo (the one that JLo advertises--lol), and I think the L'Oreal shampoo may actually be helping more and it doesn't give that weird tingly feeling like Nioxin. However, I also noticed that my hair seems a bit coarser. I used to have a lot of hair but the strands themselves were fine, if that makes sense. Because I had so much it didn't really "look" fine. But now the strands seem thicker and coarser.
Anyone else?
