Same here. I drank warm decaf tea most days to help with my fluid intake until I was able to drink the water. After 3 months, I could do the water with no problem.

I love love love water, but since I had my surgery I am having the hardest time drinking it. It hurts going down, and every time I get this massive pain in my mid stomach, below my sternum, and then I have to burp. It sucks, because I am drinking everything but water these days, and I know that I should be drinking water. Any suggestions from the veterans?
