Caffeine, which is in both Red Bull and Coke can dehydrate you, so in terms of fuid intake, it is working against you. There is also a theory that exists that the carbonation can stretch your pouch, eliminating that full feeling. I am not going to toy with it. Try water, Crystal light, iced decaf her bal tea, keep trying until you find something else you like!

What is the deal with carbonation ? I can't even have 8 oz of red bull? I drink no diet coke- no coke products nothing

Remember that scene from the Aliens movies when the creature would hatch out of the host? That's sorta what happens when you're sleeved and drink something with carbonation.

Carbonation will not stretch your sleeve, but it can/might leave you full and uncomfortable. It will take up room in your sleeve that is better utilized for Protein and fluids that will not dehydrate you like caffeine will.

What is your logic to not drinking coke/coke like products that doesn't apply to red bull? :)
