I was released from the hospital on full fluids which included Soups that you could blend up, strain out the chunks, and eat the rest.

Sometimes "hunger" is actually excess stomach acid. Are you taking a proton pump inhibitor (PPI)? A common one is omeprazole (aka Prilosec). You might benefit from this and it could help alleviate

I have a prescription for omeprazole but haven't felt any stomached acid or reflux so haven't taken any of them. Maybe I will try taking them daily. Thanks.

6 days post surgery and I feel hungry. First day I have felt this way since surgery. I hate protein shakes and sooo tired of Popsicles and broth. I've heard of head hunger but this feels like regular old I need to eat hunger. Seems like forever before I will have food again. Need some encouragement and advice from my fellow sleevers.
