I would like to know what happened to the thread that was started yesterday about this dr conducting himself in a very unprofessional manner?

I believe so. In the sense that when I left the thread there was nothing but honest information and a warming about a real situation with a person taking advantage of his position.

Exactly.. How can one condone such behavior. This forum is here to support the wls patients, but apparently more for the drs. Sad

That's why I was so confused.... Nothing I saw seemed to break any of the forum rules, but I didn't get through all the posts so I couldn't be sure. For whatever it's worth, I had no problems with Dr. Luna while I was there for surgery, but that doesn't at all mean that someone else couldn't have experienced issues.

I have a few friends who are having surgery with Dr. Garcia in the next few weeks and I guess I just hope this gets figured out before they go down there.... I would hate for them to have to worry about any drama or scandal, on top of the general worries that most of us experienced before and directly after surgery... you know?

I have had another girl pm me saying that he was "creepy" telling her she was beautiful and several other things. She can say it here if she likes but I think the moral here is to know if he says these things let him know right away it is unwanted..

I was wondering when it would get shut down. Idk the rules on this forum specifically, but most boards I'm on have rules against allegations and legal advice, which that thread was definitely teetering on.

I'm sure he's capable and has a charming personality, it seems a lot of people liked him very much. It's just that a line was definitely crossed with several girls.. It does not mean that he has crossed it with everyone though..

He did the same to me, but it could also have to do with more the cultural differences too. I didn't feel that he was saying it in a "creepy" kind of way though.. He told me I was beautiful, had beautiful eyes & would look even more amazing once the weight came off. There was another female doctor in the room too though, but I forgot her name. I think it may be that he just says these things to help with the patient's self confidence & to get them excited about losing the weight. I could see though how someone may mistake this for him hitting on them or something, but Idk, I just dont think he means any harm by it.

Most forums don't allow spinoff threads of closed topics either. Maybe we'll get lucky here though?

I also would like to know what happened to that thread also.I think every woman that may be going down to Mexico and possibly using Dr. Garcia should be aware. Everyone should be held accountable: Dr Garcia and his coordinators, for making sure this doesn't continue. And this forum for protecting us the members. They definitely should not be participating in a cover up. DR and I use that term loosely DR. LUNA is immoral and unethical man an he should not be allowed to victimize vulnerable women. Patients that are under his care.

If our forum admins owner whatever participate in this cover up they plainly are not out for us their members and I will no longer participate here
