Hi everyone!!! I'm a newbie to the forums and I was sleeved on 6/18. I lost 24lbs when I went in for my checkup today.

  • Hi Dimples. I can't believe they only had you on Clear Liquids for two days. It sounds like they advanced your stages too quickly. If the puréed foods bother you you might want to scale back to clear

I'm still on full liquids. I won't start puréed foods until post op week 2. I really don't have the urge to eat.

I was sleeved on Monday the 24th & feeling the same as u, no erge to eat & on liquids for the first two weeks.

My aunt makes the best chicken salad. She puts grapes in it.

My favorite Protein is tuna - I add low fat mayo, diced carrots, green onion & pepper. Refrigerate overnight and bam- best tasting protein ever!

Congrats to everyone!

Today is my one week and I am starving! I can't get food off my mind.

Are you getting your fluids & Protein? I just began to not feel hungry bc the rest of the ghrelin (sp?) is continuing to get out of your system.

Its crazy because I Changed my eating habits 6 months ago. My surgery placede on the diet I would eat after surgery so I could get use to it. It was rough at first and I swear I went crazy because I could not get food off my mind. Now that I have been sleeved everything I am use to eating I cannot stomach. Protein shakes and broth for sodium was something I had everyday. I can't do them anymore and it sucks... I have not had mash potatoes in 6 months. I didn't want to start craving carbs if I did. Now mash potatoes is the only thing besides popsicles my stomach can handle without gas or bubble guts. Also I am craving everything I cant have. I think Its more mental...
