Sleepless night I'm afraid:( I knew I was going to do that! Heading out in about an hour, saying a prayer now for all my sleeve buddies today:)

Find your peaceful place.

You'll do fine! I was a nerve ball until I spoke up and told my Nurse. She comforted me bc she told me she was sleeved in January. She gave me her story and shortly after my Surgeon came. He comforted me too (love his bed side manner). I woke up sore and mild pain. They have everything to keep your pain managed. Take care and please update us.

Good luck today everyone! I'm thinking about you! Hugs.

Good luck to everyone!

just checking in to let you know I'm doing well. According to my surgeon it was a textbook surgery.

He also found a small hiatal hernia at the top of my stomach and fixed that. I'm having pain when breathing in and he says the pain is because of that repair.

I've had absolutely no pain at the 5 laparoscopy incisions, a major miracle:). They are doing great. I was just up for the first time to pee and try a short walk and it went well. They allowed me to loose the the h ospital gown and get into baggy sweats and shirt, that feels great.

Lots of pain and anti nausea meds but they seem to be doing the job, yay!
