Just started my journey!

I was sleeved on 6/12/2013 and am SO ready for this journey! So far, 3 days on clear liquids hasn't seemed like much to manage since I am still recuperating from the surgery. I can't wait for tomorrow to be able to start the protein shakes which I really like, especially the Celebrate brand.

Me too! I was sleeved on 6-11. I feel great! I am able to get in my liquids and protein with no problem. Great job on liking the protein drinks, most I've tried are gross. Where do you get the celebrate ones?

Hi Megansmommy123! My doctor's office carries the Celebrate and I also got samples from the hospital. They don't make me feel bloated or gassy! I just mixed with 8oz water and they satisfied me. Also my local nutrition store carries a brand called "NOW Sports" and I've had the caramel toffee and the cookies and creme with 24g of protein - YUMMY!!!!

Good luck to both you! I have my nurse's appointment on Wednesday. I am looking forward to getting sleeved, hopefully by the fall.

I have 2 of my 3 required nutrition classes behind me and my psych eval so far. I am anxious and nervous all at the same time. I would like any pre surgery advice and after surgery sharing that you guys can give me. Thanks!
