Hi, I am so very glad to have found this forum. I have finally decided that enough is enough it is time to "bite the bullet" and get to living my life and not sitting on the couch watching it whiz by me. My husband is fully supporting me and now we are looking into the best place to go. I am so unsure about going to Mexico, but the savings in the price make it really appealing. I do have one insurance policy that will pay 3200 dollars but i don't think it would go for a Mexico facility.

I would love to know others choices for the doctor. I live in SE Kansas and Tulsa or Witchita or KCity area would work easily too.

Mexico has worked well for a lot of people. It's definitely a viable option. One Dr. in the U.S. you might also want to consider is Dr. Kirshenbaum in Denver. His price is just a little higher than Mexico. Check him out at "www.lapbandrockies.com" if interested.

Probably the best thing to do is just spend as much time as possible running searches and reading posts on this forum. That process will answer many of your questions.
